According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leadershipiq.com\/blogs\/leadershipiq\/35354241-why-new-hires-fail-emotional-intelligence-vs-skills\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Leadership IQ<\/a> study, 89% of new hire failures were a result of poor soft skills, not a lack of technical failures. New hires were more likely to fail because they lacked soft skills like coachability, emotional intelligence, and motivation. Only 11% of new hire failures were a result of technical incompetence.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This trend especially rings true for entry-level hires.
