Meet your team members and learn about your project goals.

Your role

You are working as an accountant at Universal Music Group (UMG).
You will be rotating between the Commercial Pricing and Cost Management teams at UMG.
The day-to-day responsibilities of these roles include:
- In the Commercial Pricing team, you will be responsible for analysing pricing strategies, costs, and market trends to optimise revenue and profit margins for music products and services.
- In the Cost Management team, you will be responsible for analysing production and operational costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and assisting in budgeting and financial forecasting efforts to ensure efficient resource allocation.
Your team has been assigned to the following two new projects:
- Calculating pricing for a new key artist special edition vinyl.
- Carry out detailed expense analyses to distinguish between compliant and non-compliant expenses and identify fluctuations in expense data.

Your goal

Assist the finance teams at UMG in pricing their new key artist special edition vinyl for the Commercial Pricing team and monitor operational expenses for the Cost Management team.
