Your role
- You are working as a newly qualified associate in BCLP’s corporate team in their London office.
- You are working on an M&A transaction with a larger team consisting of a trainee solicitor, a senior associate, a partner, and BCLP lawyers in the U.S. and other departments.
- Your team is working on Project Frontier, an M&A transaction involving Ascletus Ltd, an existing client of the firm.
- As you are new to the team, you are hoping to make a good impression and showcase your skills so you can take on more responsibility.
Your goal
- You need to help ensure the transaction is successful and that the client achieves their goals while being legally protected.
- As the junior associate on the deal, you will be responsible for a lot of the project management as well as some technical legal drafting and queries.
