I really appreciated the program’s practical approach and strong focus on mentoring. The combination of theory and hands-on role-play made the learning engaging and immediately applicable. I also liked how it addressed stigma and human rights alongside clinical skills, which is essential for delivering holistic and culturally sensitive care.

I liked that this program provided a structured way to plan and design a real public health project. It helped me understand how to set goals, identify stakeholders and create a timeline. I also enjoyed learning how ASHM works in international settings like PNG and how important mentorship is for health workers.

Making and amending policies with the people at heart is absolutely beautiful to see. Im my time performing those virtual tasks, I truly felt like I was a part of something special and huge that would reform the health sector as we know it. I am very thankful for the opportunity to play a part in it.
