I liked that the simulation provided a realistic introduction to investment banking and allowed me to work through practical tasks, such as analyzing company information, preparing financial summaries, and thinking about strategic opportunities. It helped me understand how investment bankers use financial and company information to support important business decisions.

I liked that the simulation felt practical and realistic. It gave me a good understanding of how investment bankers analyze a company, from reviewing financials and doing a SWOT analysis to selecting an M&A target and completing a DCF valuation. I also liked that each task built on the previous one, which made it easier to understand the overall process.

I really liked how much financial modelling work there was and practical independent work, as this is not common in other work experiences. I especially liked the DCF valuation and the sensitivities table. Overall, I think this covered various different tasks which is helpful to work on and understand further to grasp if I like this sector.
