Studying Law at University, you learn the the information ,but not how to apply the information. This simulation provided me with valuable insight into how I could apply the knowledge and skill I have developed throughout my degree to the practical work I would undertake, if successful in securing a training contract.

I enjoyed the program's progressive and structured approach to e-learning, showcasing a genuine will to encourage prospective trainees. Following one client's issues in this simulation permitted me to understand how Bird & Bird can operate as a one-stop shop for a wide range of intellectual property issues, including contractual drafting and pre-litigation case management.

I enjoyed that the simulation felt practical and reflected the type of work a trainee solicitor might carry out. The tasks challenged me to apply legal principles to real-world scenarios, think critically about the facts and consider the commercial implications of my advice, rather than simply recalling the law.
