Immerse yourself in the world of an international law firm and discover what life is like as a junior solicitor at Bird & Bird.

Experience life at the firm and learn directly from us in your own time and in your own space with this virtual experience programme. Complete three modules that will encourage you to apply law theory to work situations at Bird & Bird; develop your commercial awareness, skills and knowledge; and practice reviewing, drafting and analysing legal documents for clients. The programme takes 7-8 hours to complete, and you will need a tablet, PC or laptop to access the programme online.

At the end of the programme, you will earn a certificate to share with prospective employers and your professional network, as well as a recruiter-approved guide on how to showcase this new experience during the recruitment process at Bird & Bird.

This programme is open to all. There are no entry requirements to complete this programme and no previous experience of law is required.

It gave me a much clearer idea of the type of work I would be doing at a commercial firm. Each task challenged me to think commercially, read the laws, and draft. Overall the simulation was well-designed. The three tasks built on each other naturally. Brew4You as a running client kept everything grounded, and the difficulty curve felt right. The patent task was the most intellectually interesting, particularly the Char Ltd / Char Holdings discrepancy and the perforations question, which rewarded careful reading over a rushed conclusion.
