I liked that the simulation involved realistic legal scenarios and required practical research rather than just answering theoretical questions. Drafting memos, letters and legal responses helped me understand how legal research is applied to client advice. It also gave me experience with professional formatting and presenting information clearly.

I liked that the simulations felt very close to the work I would actually be doing as a trainee. I wasn't just learning the law, I had to research an issue, identify the relevant authorities, apply them to a client's specific facts and then communicate the advice clearly. I particularly enjoyed the problem-solving and research side of it.
