This program was an excellent opportunity to understand what an Investment Banker does and how a typical project is structured. It demonstrated how strategic analysis, problem-solving and communication skills come together in real-client scenarios. Although the files provided were already formed and ready to work on, they effectively reflected the day-to-day responsibilities of an analyst.

This simulation gave me valuable insight into the day-to-day responsibilities of investment bankers. I especially enjoyed working hands-on with financials, as it strengthened my analytical skills and reinforced my interest in performing in-depth financial analysis within a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.

One thing which I really enjoyed in Citi's job simulation is that I did not just watch some videos explaining to me how the job is done, but actually given work where I have to do things on my own, search for how it is to be done professionally and well taking my time to understand it. And after all the four tasks, the certificate really feels like well deserved.
