Your role

You are a wealth analyst at Citi, a global leader in wealth services.
Your role within the Wealth team involves working closely with clients to understand their financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
You have been assigned a new client, a successful entrepreneur who has recently experienced a significant liquidity event with the sale of their family business for $100M.
As an ambitious wealth analyst eager to demonstrate your expertise and contribute to the client's financial success, you see this as an ideal opportunity to apply your analytical skills, market knowledge, and personalized service approach.

Your goal

Your primary task is to engage with the client through a comprehensive discovery process, gaining a deep understanding of their financial situation, goals, and investment preferences.
Following the discovery, you will develop a customized mock portfolio proposal using Excel, which aligns with the client's risk tolerance and investment objectives, ensuring the proposed asset allocation and investment strategy are suited to their unique needs.
Lastly, you need to effectively communicate the rationale behind your portfolio choices, demonstrating how your recommendations are designed to achieve the client's financial aspirations while addressing their concerns and preferences.
