    Welcome to the City Century Solicitor Apprentice Job Simulation! We are thrilled to have you here.

    City Century is an innovative initiative platformed by the City of London Law Society, partnering with over 50 law firms in London. Its mission is to redefine the pathway into the legal profession by offering apprenticeships that combine work-based learning with academic study. This programme presents a unique opportunity for aspiring lawyers to gain practical experience, earn a salary, and achieve a law degree without the financial burdens associated with a traditional university education. Aimed at cultivating a diverse and talented legal workforce, City Century offers a pragmatic and accessible route into law, catering to individuals eager to embark on a legal career.

    Throughout this CitycEntry programme, you will have the chance to experience what it's like to be a solicitor apprentice in a commercial law team. You will complete tasks that simulate the work that a commercial law apprentice would tackle on a daily basis. You'll learn key skills in: 

    • Legal research and analysis
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving
    • Effective communication and presentation
    • Understanding and applying regulatory and compliance frameworks
