Really useful practical tasks that gave an overview of what day to day tasks might look like and an opportunity to reflect on the skill with an example to see what areas you missed out. Really enjoyed putting my knowledge and experience to the test and seeing how I can improve them ahead of entering the work place.

Understanding the structure and flow of a corporate project, especially in a large-scale, legally intensive initiative like a solar farm expansion, would be key. You would have learned about the importance of Conditions Precedent (CP) calls, in which critical issues are discussed to keep projects legally and financially on track.

I liked that the simulation provided a realistic introduction to legal practice by involving CP calls, legal research, and project analysis. It helped me understand how solicitors identify risks, manage compliance requirements, communicate with stakeholders, and support renewable energy projects through effective legal documentation and research.
