In this job simulation you will complete tasks focused on human rights risks that our clients may face. You will learn how you, as a lawyer, can advise clients on how to approach such challenges.
The practical experience was beneficial in helping understand what is required of me when I enter the legal field. I found it helpful that the tasks were clearly laid out and easy to follow. This experience allowed me improve my research skills, as I needed to deduce information from long documents.
The simulation was highly practical and closely reflected real-life legal work in an international law firm. I particularly enjoyed the structured approach to ESG and human rights due diligence, and the opportunity to apply legal principles to complex cross-border scenarios. It helped me develop stronger legal reasoning, commercial awareness, and drafting skills.
The virtual internship offered a plethora of intellectually stimulating tasks that propagated the development of key skills within the field of law. My passion for human rights law has now been kindled and I intend to expand on this passion through the actions I will take in my career and personal life.
