I enjoyed the Deloitte Cyber Virtual Experience Program because it helped me understand cybersecurity concepts and how they are applied in real-world situations. The practical tasks improved my problem-solving skills and gave me a better understanding of the work performed by cybersecurity professionals.

The task felt like real analyst work. Spotting the suspicious user meant understanding normal behavior (login, then page resources, then API calls on manual refresh) and catching what didn’t fit, like API calls at an exact hourly interval. It taught me to reason about patterns, not just search for a keyword.

The simulation provided a realistic overview of cybersecurity tasks such as analyzing logs, identifying suspicious activity, and understanding potential vulnerabilities. I particularly liked how it connected theoretical concepts with practical scenarios, making it easier to understand real-world applications in cyber risk and threat analysis.
