I enjoyed the practical tasks that made me feel like I was really part of the Freshfields team catering to a client. This gave me a lot more insight into the role and what to expect should an oppotunity to take part in a vacation scheme / training contract arise. I also enjoyed how the tasks were interesting, it felt like a storyline which was easy to follow.

I really liked how the program provided practical tasks with clear guidance, especially the model answers, which were like a gold mine. They helped me understand how to approach each task and improve my skills step by step. It was a great opportunity to see how real legal work is done and learn from detailed examples.

The commercial law forage was very engaging and stimulating. In particular, it helped me research Freshfields beyond the surface level. I got to experience what a Trainee may be required to do, which is as challenging as it is fulfilling. From diversity research to settling disputes and giving elevator pitches, I learnt more than I thought I would.
