I liked that it gave examples of how to relate the experience we have in college to the tasks we would be completing in a risk management position. It is sometimes hard to see how the skills I have and the activities I participate in now will help prepare me for a future career, so this simulation was very enlightening.

The hands-on work made the concepts concrete: the risk calculator showed exactly how credit score, income, debt, savings and late payments combine into a risk level, and the real estate workbook showed how a probability estimate drives the mitigation strategy. The everyday-life examples in Task One made the different types of risk easy to tell apart.

I liked how the simulation connected risk management concepts to realistic financial and real estate scenarios. The spreadsheet made it easier to see how changing risk probabilities affected risk levels and how mitigation strategies should be tailored to each situation. It also helped me practice making decisions and explaining the reasoning behind them.
