I really enjoyed how this simulation gave an accurate look into what legal work is like at a large, international law firm, and how the simulation followed one company throughout its duration, seeing us through all the different ways in which the firm might advise or assist the company, and the number of responsibilities the firm can undertake.

Herbert Smith Freehills' virtual internship on Global Litigation was an invaluable work experience, where I familiarised myself with both cross-jurisdictional litigious work, and the culture and values of the firm. In particular, the opportunity to reflect and compare your own memorandum and settlement agreement drafts against model answers provided by Herbert Smith Freehills is extremely helpful.

I liked the consistency of working with one client across a range of problems to see the ins and outs of the legal process. Also, tasks are packaged in different ways including emails to colleagues and drafting contracts to keep you stimulated. Finally, the work feels professional and fast-paced as if you were really on the job!
