I really enjoyed how hands-on this simulation was — building out Kafka producers/consumers, wiring up an H2 database, and exposing a REST API gave a realistic feel for backend engineering work at JPMorgan Chase. The progressive structure (each task building on the last) made it easy to see how the pieces fit together in a real system.

I really enjoyed the hands-on nature of the simulation. It gave me practical experience with Kafka, Spring Boot, H2, JPA, REST APIs, database integration, and debugging a transaction-processing system. The progressive tasks helped me understand how different backend components work together in a real-world financial technology environment.
I appreciated how the program provided a realistic simulation of JPMorgan Chase’s work environment. The interactive exercises helped me understand key concepts and decision-making processes in a hands-on way. It was engaging and gave me valuable insight into the skills and tasks relevant to the role.
