I liked how hands on the simulation was. Working with real datasets like natural gas pricing and loan default data made me feel like I was actually doing the work of a JPMorgan quant researcher. The step-by-step tasks and clear instructions helped me learn Python, data analysis, and financial modeling in a practical way. It was challenging but I enjoyed every bit of the journey.

the most interesting part is that the explaination on the background of the question and data, as well as external reference was included in the question which has helped in in getting insight on the purpose of the task and how the task should be delivered. The most challenging part is to execute complex function in python to solve the task.

I liked how the four tasks built on each other into a real pipeline. Price estimation fed into contract pricing, and the credit risk model fed into the FICO bucketing task. The dynamic programming task especially pushed me to think more rigorously than I would have on my own. Overall it gave me a much clearer picture of what quant research work actually looks like.
