I really enjoyed this simulation because it provided practical experience in quantitative research and financial risk modeling. The tasks were realistic, well-structured, and helped me improve my Python, data analysis, and problem-solving skills while applying concepts used in the financial industry

Reviews
The simulation was well structured and provided practical, hands-on experience with real-world quantitative research tasks. I particularly enjoyed working on data analysis, pricing commodity storage contracts, and building machine learning models for credit risk. It was a great opportunity to apply Python to realistic financial problems.
I liked how the four tasks built on each other into a real pipeline. Price estimation fed into contract pricing, and the credit risk model fed into the FICO bucketing task. The dynamic programming task especially pushed me to think more rigorously than I would have on my own. Overall it gave me a much clearer picture of what quant research work actually looks like.
