I really appreciated the chance to find out what it is like working as a Kennedys solicitor and gain practical experience in different aspects of the legal field. I particularly enjoyed the chance to see what it might be like to work on a clinical negligence claim because this is the area that I am most interested in working in.

I liked the variety of the simulation and how much information there was to examine and analyse. The tasks covered several different areas of law, including civil litigation, insurance, clinical negligence and commercial contracts, while also developing practical skills in drafting, communication and commercial awareness.

I worked on a project that allowed me to do the work that a trainee lawyer would do. I practiced my research and analysis skills and built up skills in contract management and client communication in multiple industries. Doing this program confirmed that I really enjoy working on legal claims and I'm excited to apply these skills on a legal team at a company like Kennedy's.
