I liked that the simulation reflected practical consulting work rather than theory. It required analyzing business problems, identifying root causes, developing practical recommendations, and presenting findings in a structured way. It also reinforced the importance of data-driven decision-making, problem-solving, and clear communication in an advisory role.

I loved how it was relatively straightforward but also slightly quantitative at times. It improved my skills in Excel, specifically using pivot tables to gain insights into data. I also learned what a well-structured slide deck looks like, and I hope to improve in all these areas, as this work at KPMG extremely interests me.

I liked how I had to go step-by-step in the process, and got to learn the practical and conceptual parts of the advisory process. Additionally, I became more experienced in using AI in a professional environment. It was also great to practice my presentation skills as well. Overall, it was a great learning experience for me!
