Your role

You are a first-year associate in the Audit practice at KPMG.
You work as part of an engagement team, which is a team of KPMG professionals from across each of our functions (specialists from advisory, tax professionals, and IT auditors) assigned to a specific audit client.
Your client is Scoops Inc., a thriving and rapidly expanding ice cream business.
This portion of the engagement involves inventory accounting. Like most first-year associates, you are familiar with the topic from your accounting courses but are looking forward to applying these skills to a real-life situation!

Your goal

You are part of the engagement team that will analyze the inventory accounting process at Scoops Inc. and then model several inventory scenarios.
You will give a short presentation to the client on what the KPMG team has learned.
