The tasks were comparatively more challenging than some other VEPs, but really helped clarify many of the processes within an M&A deal flow. The due diligence task especially was quite detailed and provided a high-level understanding of what due-diligence actually means, the mechanisms in place to carry it out and provided legitimate outcomes.

This simulation was really well-structured. It enabled me to complete real task, that were increasingly demanding, allowing me to understand the practice of a trainee at the firm. Compared to other simulations, it is really well thought and enables who completes it to perform serious and demanding tasks

I like that the background to tasks and the tasks are available in both video and text formats. This gives me the opportunity to choose a more convenient mode of learning. In addition, receiving a draft response after each task helps me understand, beyond verifying my answers, how to present my responses in a manner that aligns with Latham & Watkins' standards.
