The simulation was a perfect introduction to what it might be like working as a junior lawyer in a law firm like Linklaters. It was great to have plenty of time to consider the tasks and to do the research without any pressure, knowing that they will not be assessed. The tasks seemed realistic and the videos were friendly and professional - they gave a good sense of what to expect.

I liked that the simulation gave me the opportunity to work through realistic tasks that a trainee might come across in a commercial law environment. It helped me understand areas such as due diligence, drafting emails, reviewing legal documents, legal research, project management and communicating with clients. I also liked that the tasks were practical rather than only theoretical.

The tasks were varied and practical. They covered different aspects of working in a commercial law firm, including project management, teamwork, legal research and using AI. They were realistic and client-focused. The tasks required applying legal knowledge to real transaction scenarios and communicating information clearly and professionally.
