I like that the Mayor Telstra Innovation Awards give young people a platform to turn creative ideas into practical solution while connecting them with experienced industry mentors. The program not only build innovation and problem-solving skills, but also boost student's confidence through real-world pitching experiences.

My virtual internship with Moreton Bay Council was an enriching experience that provided me with both professional growth and a deeper understanding of local government operations. Despite the remote setting, the program was well-structured and allowed for meaningful engagement with various departments within the council.

“I really enjoyed how the program allowed me to think creatively and apply problem-solving skills to real-world challenges. The structure was clear, the examples were relatable, and I appreciated the focus on innovation and entrepreneurship. It gave me a better understanding of how ideas can be transformed into meaningful projects. The experience was both inspiring and practical.”
