It was clearly structured to reflect how the approach has been developed in practice so far, while also considering how it can be improved in response to future challenges and real-world scenarios. Therefore, I believe it appropriately prioritises how simulations are designed with a broader scope of attention.

I liked that the program was realistic and closely reflected the type of work done in government roles. The scenarios encouraged practical thinking, problem-solving, and empathy, rather than focusing only on technical knowledge. I also appreciated that the tasks allowed space to consider real community needs and how government services can be improved in a meaningful way.

What I liked most about the NSW Government Virtual Internship Program was its practical, real-world focus and insight into how public policy and service delivery work in action. The program offered a unique opportunity to engage with realistic scenarios, such as improving digital services and addressing community needs, which helped me understand the complexity and impact of government work.
