The best features of this program was its specificity in curating experiences that will actually be useful in the workplace. The skills, projects and learning path was smooth to accommodate and this program truly became a catalyst in making students capable to grasp what all happens in the real world.

What I liked most about the program is that it connected policy, planning, costing, communication, and decision-making in a very practical and workplace-relevant way. Each task built logically on the previous one, giving a complete understanding of how WHS initiatives should be evaluated and presented in a professional setting.

I really enjoyed structure of the program wherein we were asked to complete policy tasks, and then provide a video presentation. This reflects the real-world experience that one can expect at any NSW department. More importantly, this internship has helped me confirm that my interests lie in policy-making.
