I liked that the simulation was practical and realistic, especially the opportunity to work through a real-world banking scenario. It helped me understand financed emissions, net-zero pathways, target setting, and how to use data and Excel to make business recommendations. The step-by-step structure and realistic client emails also made the experience engaging.

The simulation provided excellent exposure to real-world climate risk analysis and ESG concepts used in consulting. Working through NGFS scenarios, financed emissions calculations, and client communication tasks gave a realistic feel for the type of work done at Oliver Wyman’s CIB practice. The Excel modeling task was particularly valuable for building practical skills.

It requires participants use their own thoughts instead of mindlessly clicking through the exercises which keep the participants concentrated on the tasks. I also feel like it is easy to grasp an understanding of the task even when coming into it with little understanding about financial emissions.
