I liked the simulation because it gave me practical experience and helped me understand how financial professionals analyze deals and make decisions. It was interactive and easy to follow, and I enjoyed applying what I learned to a realistic business situation. It also improved my understanding of finance and increased my confidence.

This simulation gave a realistic look at how credit analysts and portfolio managers communicate rating downgrades to clients. I liked that it required pulling together data from multiple sources (portfolio exposure, credit commentary, and PM recommendations) into one clear, client-ready email. It felt like genuine day-to-day work in a credit/fixed income role.

I liked how the tasks moved from foundational knowledge into real applied analysis. Building the SMG credit workbook and having to form my own view of Adjusted EBITDA, rather than just accepting management's number, was the standout. The Private Credit Deal Triage exercise was also great, comparing two companies with no single "correct" answer taught real judgment.
