I really enjoyed how practical and realistic the simulation was! Working on real corporate data , calculating metrics in excel , and drafting client-facing credit breach emails gave me a strong hands-on understanding of fixed income analysis and portfolio management. It boosted my confidence immensely in financial research and credit risk.

I liked how the tasks moved from foundational knowledge into real applied analysis. Building the SMG credit workbook and having to form my own view of Adjusted EBITDA, rather than just accepting management's number, was the standout. The Private Credit Deal Triage exercise was also great, comparing two companies with no single "correct" answer taught real judgment.
