The programme was a great experience! It gives a chance to gain insight into the trainee tasks and responsibilities in the firm and also allows both learning and testing of practical skills. I particularly enjoyed the legal research and the drafting of the communications and of the legal document (witness statement).

I liked the continued build up of the same scenario as opposed to jumping around with random different tasks. This helped me better understand how the different areas link and allowed an overlap of skills and knowledge between areas. I also liked the varied format of tasks (e.g voicemail) very unique to Pinsent Masons.

This program effectively allowed me to explore what real life work at a leading company like Pinsent Masons would be like. Through this, I have not only enhanced my skills, but I have built confidence in my own ability. This program definitely gave me an insight into the different areas of work which I may want to explore further in my career.
