I liked that I could complete it when convenient for me and at my own page. At first, I felt a little overwhelmed, but I had space to try my best. I also found the model answers really helpful in seeing where I could improve. It's what you make of it and I felt I learnt a lot. I also enjoyed the immersive aspects of the simulation.

I liked the Slaughter and May simulation because it gave me an insight into what working in a commercial law firm is like. I really enjoyed analysing information, solving problems, reading, and thinking carefully about the best approach to the tasks. My favourite task was definitely the conference call from making notes to understanding how important communication with others and precision is.

I found the simulation particularly useful because it reflected how real meetings often unfold—unstructured and fast-paced. It helped me practise filtering key information, identifying decisions, and producing clear, structured notes. It also reinforced the importance of accuracy and clarity, especially where notes may later be relied on by others.
