it was a broad insight into the type of work that a trainee solicitor at Slaughter and May would carry out. it was informative and interesting, and allowed me to learn how communication within the company works, as well as learn about some of the seats that I would be in, should I obtain a training contract.

My favourite part was being able to read emails and draft letters. It really developed my skills on how to complete a formal letter in the field of law. Furthermore, being able to see how a professional would reply in comparisons to my own further helped me to correct my wrongs and solidify knowledge.

Of a truth, this program is a confidence booster! I started this program with a very low knowledge of the commercial aspect of law and what it really entails. Now, I can confidently say I have been imparted and taught and I understand perfectly this field of law. This is a program to recommend to my friends and colleagues.
