The simulation was practical and gave a clear introduction to how private equity investors assess a company. I particularly liked working with the 10-K, building a simplified income statement, and then turning the financial analysis into concise investment merits and risks. It felt more realistic than a typical academic exercise.

I loved the hands-on experience of completing tasks that a private equity analyst would do. Reading and analyzing 10-ks and 10-Qs, creating models to evaluate a company's performance, and summarizing the information to make it easy for a manager to understand are all valuable skills that I can take with me in any field.

As someone who is still developing a stable foundation of business knowledge, this program simulation did an exceptional job with explaining key concepts and providing a basic outline for the tasks that needed to be completed for the company. Everything was laid out in a clean and structured manner, and I had very little confusion when completing work that I have no prior experience with.
