    Your role
    • You are a Law Graduate who has just started in White & Case's Commercial Litigation team in Sydney
    • You will be working with a Senior Associate and a Partner on a complex dispute between Outback Growth Fund Pty Ltd, a Venture Capital Fund, and Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), an Australian Government Regulator 
    • As a Law Graduate on the Commercial Litigation team, you will assist more senior lawyers with drafting court documents, conducting legal research, and undertaking other legal and administrative tasks, as required
    Your goal
    • You will start by identifying and analysing the key legal issues in a dispute between your client and ASIC
    • You will review the initial claim documents against your client and prepare a Notice of Defence (i.e., a court document stating your client's intention to defend the litigation proceedings). 
    • You will conduct legal research and provide legal advice to your client on obtaining an expert report for litigation
