It provided insight into how dispute resolution issues are analysed in a commercial context and helped me understand how legal advice is presented to a board of directors. The task was realistic and strengthened my confidence in structuring legal arguments clearly and professionally.

The tasks were not too lengthy or difficult, especially since this is my first impression of dispute resolution. It was enjoyable and it gave me insight into the work that occurs at a US firm, such as White & Case. Obviously, the work done as a proper solicitor will be much more challenging than this, but this was a solid introduction.
