    Your role
    • You are a trainee solicitor who has just started in White & Case's Debt Finance team in Hong Kong.
    • You will be working with a senior associate and partner on a complex transaction in which China Asia & Oceania Bank will be lending to a sponsor to fund an acquisition. 
    • As the trainee solicitor on the transaction, you will be helping to take notes at a conference, review first drafts of transaction documents, and perform other legal and administrative tasks.
    Your goal
    • Become familiar with the transaction life cycle, the main transaction documents, and the facts of the current transaction. 
    • Attend a conference call between the White & Case team and your client, taking notes and recording key details in a file note.
    • Review the first draft of a facility agreement while populating key terms and checking for drafting errors.
